Poem

In silence, profound essence speaks, No mouth-shutting, nor life-denying, Beyond compulsiveness, a profound articulation, Silence births consciousness, sacred dialogue.

Sing, dance, speak in the silence, Converse with self in the hush, The sound of silence — a cosmic resonance, Earth, sky, and celestial bodies echo the symphony of life.

Mournful notes of death, vibrant melody of life, The dissonance of pain, the harmonious strain of joy, A sonic maze unfolds, existence in quiet, Surface dwells sound; core cradles silence.

Absence of sound, a void profound, No reverberation, no life echoes, no creation’s reflection, With the creator’s essence lost in silence, One becomes — the state of Dhyanam*, meditation, liberation.

(*Dhyanam is a Sanskrit word for Meditation. Dhyanam is not an activity and hence not a process. It’s a quality and hence a state)
