Harder On A Woman: A Great New Song by the Legendary Billy Squier
A look and listen to the musician’s first new release since 1998

Like a lot of other music listeners, I became a fan of musician Billy Squier shortly after his album Don’t Say No was released in 1981. It contained multiple popular songs, including “The Stroke,” “In The Dark,” “My Kinda Lover,” and “Lonely Is The Night.”
Billy continued releasing great music throughout the 1980s, including the hits “Emotions In Motion,” “Everybody Wants You,” “She’s A Runner,” and “Rock Me Tonite.”
I bought all of his albums back then and saw him in concert a couple of times. He was — and still is — one of my favorite musicians ever.
Unfortunately for music listeners, Billy Squier’s record label did very little to promote his later albums which came in the early 1990s — which led to poor sales. Frustrated, Billy pretty much walked away from the recording industry shortly after the release of his 1993 album Tell The Truth.
Although Billy Squier has occasionally toured since then, his most recent album of new material was the solo acoustic album Happy Blue — way back in 1998.
Those who follow Billy online (like myself) were recently pleasantly surprised when got a couple of short sound and video clips, like this one below, that told us that new music was finally coming from him:
