A problem we all need to highlight

In shadows cast by cruel intent, A tale of torment and discontent. I write a verse, a solemn plea, To raise a voice against harassment’s spree.

In whispered words and silent fears, Lurks the pain that lasts for years. Aching hearts and shattered souls, Victims of the torment that takes its tolls.

Harassment, the poison that seeps, Into lives where trust once leaps. It knows no bounds, it shows no grace, Targeting victims, leaving no trace.

In workplaces where power corrupts, And innocence it gladly disrupts, A symphony of anguish is played, As souls are wounded, spirits frayed.

In streets where shadows dance with fright, And darkness preys upon the night, The innocent tread with wary eyes, As fear and vulnerability arise.

Harassment wears many vile masks, From verbal jabs to physical tasks. It preys on genders, every creed, Inflicting wounds that may never recede.

But in this verse, a call resounds, To bring an end to these haunting sounds. Let empathy guide us, hearts aflame, To eradicate harassment’s cruel game.

Let’s lend an ear to those who speak, And offer solace to the meek. Together we stand, united strong, Defending rights, correcting wrongs.

Let’s foster respect and equality, In every corner, community. For no one should endure the pain, Of harassment’s wrath, its toxic reign.

So let us rise, with voices clear, To silence harassment’s dreadful jeer. In solidarity, we take a stand, Creating a world that’s safe and grand.

For in this battle, we’ll never cease, Until harassment finds no lease. With love and courage, we shall persist, Till every soul can coexist.
