Journaling is not a lost art but a benefit for the mind social media is not a replacement it is freeing and cathartic for the mind the soul and spirit, in the morning or night free your spirit and your soul will follow journaling reduces bedtime worry and stress increases peaceful sleep time, and sleep quality make time to write about the positive negating the negative note how you feel, why you feel, and what needs to change.
Benefits of journaling that centers your positive thoughts and reality:
- Your journal can help you heal in the short and long term. It helps to clear the air, frees your conscious, and dissolves stress, grief, a bad breakup, feeling of inadequacy, self-doubt, and marriage issues — all things can be confronted and relieved once you take charge of your thoughts on paper. Once on paper, it takes the pressure off your mind reducing your anxiety and stress level to a more peaceful state allowing a restful sleep.
- You can increase your emotional intelligence through journaling. Journaling helps to get in touch with your emotions and improves your ability to understand and manage your own emotions. Also, it allows you to become more empathetic with others’ emotions.
