You are probably familiar with the song Happy by Pharrell Williams. The song was a star of the movie Despicable Me 2, starring the Minions.

Some may even be familiar with the video:

But did you know they created 24 hours of people dancing, moving, and grooving to the song?

They even created a website for 24HoursofHappy.com, showing all and each of the dancers being happy.

I'd love to hear if there is any better song to vacuum the house or do the dishes with.

The video(s) also stars Jimmy Kimmel, Jamie Foxx, Magic Johnson, Steve Carrell, Sergio Mendes, and many more.

It's fun to watch, and I can have the 24-hour version playing all day. I get distracted by the smiles on the video, though.

I started writing this post two days ago.

But I kept singing and dancing. You know the words…sing and dance with me:

Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof (Because I’m happy) Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth (Because I’m happy) Clap along if you know what happiness is to you (Because I’m happy) Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do

Excuse me for now; I will be dancing for a bit (and hopefully getting some house chores done).

Be happy!

What is your favorite song to get you happy? What's the story behind it? It might make a good piece here at Music Lover's Cabin!
