Happy Ending

A poem to keep you going

You said I know nothing I see everything yet never say anything just to keep my peace of mind

Maybe I need to speak up sometimes when you accuse me of things I never did Or leave you behind and never look back but forward because they say it would break your neck

Claim your freedom Keep your childlike wonder and daydream all the time even when people say it helps nothing

You cannot help but dream when you are a hopeless romantic thinking about what could be in this life of yours Maybe not marrying your first love but something leading to a happy ending
