Happy Author’s Day To All My Fellow Medium Authors
"A book is made from a tree. It is an assemblage of flat, flexible parts (still called "leaves") imprinted with dark pigmented squiggles. One glance at it and you hear the voice of another person, perhaps someone dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, the author is speaking, clearly and silently, inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people, citizens of distant epochs, who never knew one another. Books break the shackles of time--proof that humans can work magic." ― Carl Sagan
World Writers' Day is celebrated worldwide on November 1. Today is a day to honor the writers of our favorite novels. A book is a tool that has the power to affect our mind, body, and soul. It significantly affects how we live.
Writing a novel requires bravery, sweat, time, tears, blood, and hours spent daydreaming about another world. It is authors who have the power to inspire, instruct, and amuse us through their writing. Words are the weapon of the writer.
This day is to recognize the authors who enrich our lives by producing such fantastic novels for us to read. Writers possess a remarkable ability to move readers to tears with their words. Books make life better. A writer’s life is not simple. It may seem simple to put thoughts on paper, but doing it well requires a lot of dedication. So, today, honor your favorite author.
Here is a phrase about writing that I love and would like to share because it motivates me to get my laptop out and start writing.
A writer never has a vacation. For a writer life consists of either writing or thinking about writing. ~Eugene Ionesco
Happy Author’s Day to all of my reciprocal writers today. Without the authors, life would have been so different and lacking. All of you are excellent writers who want to improve people’s lives. I’m using this opportunity to express my appreciation to all the fantastic writers for contributing to this lovely community. Whatever your thoughts about your writing may be, always keep in mind that every word you write has an impact on the lives of others. Have confidence in your writing and in yourself. You’re doing great; keep writing constantly.
