Everything’s as easy as pie … until it’s not.

Easy, one two three

In a five-seven-five pattern

Rhymed? Nein! What for? 五

Notes:

Nein is “no” in German

五 is the Japanese symbol for “five”, pronounced “go.”

So … go! Write haiku. It’s as easy as … pie. Or, maybe it isn’t.

Stick to the pattern. No need to rhyme.
