Beyond turbulence.

Blinded by storm,

Persevering to the end,

The dust settles.

This marks the two-week point since I started flooding my timeline with daily Haiku posts. I am beginning to worry about how I can balance this abundance with my other writings, like a relative storm. However, I am determined to find a solution. When the dust settles, I will figure it out.

While this is a small and relatable story, it builds on yesterday’s thoughts about the Abyss and confronting the unknown. Today is about resolutions and reminding ourselves that if we persevere, we will weather any storm and find the solution we need in the end. Perseverance has helped me a lot, personally. Be it adapting to a 4-quarter academic system in the Netherlands after two years of no studying, or be it pushing through the few months of unemployment right after my graduation, and many more. The moments that can be called “storms” can be found throughout my life, a theme I am assuming is common for everyone else too.

And going through the turmoil has, every single time, given me a better picture of life and myself, a clarity unlike any other.

Is there a storm you have survived? What is the calm you reached when the dust settled? I would love for you to share a comment below!
