Haiku — 0004: Doubt
Push through uncertainty.
Jump off the cliff,
Swept into the autumn gale,
Eagle’s slow first flight.
One of the longest battles I have had in my life is with myself — The part that says “This is not meant to be”. It took a lot of reflection, much like the first flight of a magnificent bird, every next doubt was a summit, one foot from an abyss. But then comes a decisive moment, one at the proverbial crossroads. Just as the bird would take the risk, I did too, and so can you, because the rush of the wind also sets your wings to work.
And then you soar above your doubts.
