Guru
Another way to make some cash

There’s a new kid in town. At least new to me, anyway. I think it started with me and my life partner, good old Google, attempting to locate some place I can sell off my erotica at a flat rate and be done with it. That’s how I found Guru.
2782 in ten categories. That’s the number of jobs or gigs they have available as of this writing. Categories include followed by the number of gigs in the queue:
Programming and Development (1233)
Design and Art (389)
Writing and Translation (386)
Administrative and Secretarial (91)
Business and Finance (82)
Sales and Marketing (272)
Engineering and Architecture (106)
Legal (23)
Education and Training (68)
And last but not least, good old “Other” with 152 gigs. So if you’re bored and curious, I say start here!

As you can see, there are nine subcategories under Writing and Translation. I use the “Any Subcategory” option. This way, if a job poster miscategorized it, I can still find it.

This will give you an idea of what you can expect once you’ve signed up (for FREE) and search for work. If you will notice, in the top right you will see a blue button “Send a quote” while the listing under it is not highlighted. I have yet to verify my identity. Some companies don’t care, such as the top one, while others, like the one at the bottom, want to make sure they know who they’re actually dealing with.

It didn’t take me long at all to sign up and set up, which I was grateful for. Some setups on some platforms can be ridiculous, even on a good day.
I have sent quotes to a few gigs and am still eyeballing a few others. It updates every few minutes as there are job postings literally from all over the world. Like anywhere else on the internet, however, I warn you. There are crazies everywhere, even here. Some guy has not one but TWO listings looking for a female to have phone sex with so it can inspire him to write his erotica.
I think the dude should find another line of work.
I do the legwork so you don’t have to!
