Thrifty word challenge #22: Guilty

Sitting in front of the television, gorging on tacos dripping in cheese, my eyes alight on your photograph, staring down at me.

I choke on crunchy tortillas, remembering my words to you, eating second helpings of chicken and rice.

“Mum that’s too much food, it’s not good for you!”

Busted!

Now that she’s gone, I feel a wee bit guilty about the times I treated my mother like a child…
