Guest Prompt Week 1, Day 1: Joseph Lieungh

It’s guest prompt month! Wohooo!

12 people, 12 prompts, 12 opportunities to reflect, write and give it all we’ve got. I am extremely grateful that these incredibly talented writers were up for the challenge and I am looking forward to reading all the stories their ideas will birth.

Our first guest of the month is fellow writer Joseph Lieungh, who began submitting to Know Thyself on January 1st, 2020. As I said to him as well, time flies when Joseph writes. His prompt choice is very intriguing:

“At the level of humaness, we see right and wrong as guide markers. At what point or level do we no longer see right and wrong?”

Joseph encourages us to remove all emotions and answer to our understanding, as the question can possibly have multitudes of answers.

When asked how he came up with this prompt, Joseph said: “This idea has been on my mind for quite a bit and organically formed a discussion with an uncle as of recent. He began pointing out the Evil Spirits in the world with certain people we have worked with. I know I have been taught good and evil, but then, I am reminded of Einstein being quoted ‘I want to think like God thinks.’

Well ladies and gents, this is your prompt for today (or for whenever you have time to tackle it). The second prompt for the week is released on Wednesday, and the third one on Friday. Looking forward to everyone’s submissions!
