Guess Who Came to Dinner
Remember the ’60s movie, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”? This isn’t it.

Random Word Drabble Challenge Day 35 Word is Administration.
Just as we settled into dinner, the administration rapped on the door. CEOs usually get left to their meals. What could they possibly want?
My plate and I were locked in a delicious dance, ribs begging for attention, poutine whispering promises of a cheesy gravy heaven. Did they not understand this culinary seduction?
“Board meeting,” they droned.
Me? I yearned to sink my teeth into those sweet succulent ribs. My wife’s poutine masterpiece mocked me with its perfection cooling unnecessarily.
“Enough!” I growled, “This plate and I have a date.”
“Stressed spelled backward is desserts. Coincidence? I think not!” — Anonymous.
What many don’t know about that controversial film is that it was Spencer Tracy’s last movie, and Katherine Houghton, the White girl who brought home her Black boyfriend, was Katherine Hepburn’s niece in real life.
It’s a fabulous movie. If you haven’t seen it, you should.
A drabble is a fictional story using exactly 100 words — no more, no less. In this case, using the random word “administration” to build the story.
