Introduction to Marina, the warrior who rights the wrongs of the past

Marina Hammond was your typical city girl. She had a great career, enjoyed the single life, and knew where her life was supposed to go. What she didn’t know was that the Universe had other ideas for her future.

Marina was created many years ago when I participated in, and completed, in the 2004(?) NaNoWriMo challenge. I wrote a rough draft of a book, over 50,000 words, and I did it in 30 days. I was over the moon excited, but that’s as far as it ever went. I put Marina’s story on the back burner and went on to something else.

For some reason, Marina called out to me recently and wanted me to tell her story. I found that original manuscript and read the whole thing in one sitting. It desperately needed reworked, but I knew I had to bring her story to life and I had just the place to do it.

May I introduce to you, Marina — The Guardian of the Good
