Growing Thankful Seeds

A poem celebrating gratitude

Photo by author

Being thankful plants a blossoming heart

in calm places that never pull apart

the lessons of storms swam in chartless seas;

the new path discovered through veiled trees.

But thankful mustn’t be kept a secret.

Spirits grow when it’s shared, bright, and sunlit.

Voicing reverence for love encircled,

creates fresh roots that are planted, not pulled.

To value beauty patchworked and offered,

layers gratitude that is felt and heard.

I am thankful for this publication, Thank You Notes by Trista Signe Ainsworth. I appreciate the joyfulness here, shown by all of the writers and readers. Thanks for reading my poem!
