Growing Old With You
Soulmates forever
Another day passes by, And you are nowhere near. It hurts right now to really know, I cannot have you here.
My love for you has grown so fast, So deep and rich and pure. And every day that sails right past, Makes the love I have grow more.
Every thought in every way, Has you involved somehow. Its no wonder why I always say, I love you I want you now.
I don’t know what our future brings, But I really have to say. Whatever it brings whatever it is, I’m all yours come what may.
It's hard to explain the feelings I have, The ones that are deep inside. I cannot lie I cannot cheat, There is nothing I cannot hide.
One day soon will be our time, A life we live in sync. Frightened we might miss something, If we dare to blink.
Side by side, arm in arm, Together feeling proud. Climbing to the mountain top, Our love we shout out loud.
Our kids move on all grown up, They fly far from the nest. Finally, we shed happy tears, Knowing we have done our best.
And here we are now on our own, Ready to face the world. Explore discover find embrace, Our sails now unfurled.
We might even see all seven wonders, As long as we find the eighth. And that’s what’s deep inside us, The love the fear the faith.
I know what I want and what I need, And what I got to do. I may never get that ring on your finger, But I want to grow old with you.
