Groot Explains To Wanda: It’ll Be Okay

I Am Groot

Hi, Wanda. You don’t know me but you should have heard of my good friend, Groot, by now.

We’ve both been watching the Westview anomaly with interest. We’re big fans, Wanda Maximoff. Groot, especially, wanted to reach out to you during this, your most troubled time of grief.

Bad enough you’ve lost, well, everything. Nearly everything.

But it’s going to get worse.

Groot and I fear your children may be next. Them, and what is left of your sanity, once you see the John Byrne homage to Vision in episode 9.

Yes. Groot, like me, is an avid reader of the comics. He can’t stop talking about it. It’s, “I am Groot this,” and “I am Groot that.” He knows what happened in West Coast Avengers and beyond. It’s clear the MCU does too, and that’s not good news for you.

In the 8th episode, Previously on WandaVision, we learned just how badly you’re hurting. it’s just as we feared. The Westview anomaly was born of your grief.

And that cliffhanger shows it’s not going to get any better.

Groot is here for you, Wanda, and so am I.

I hope you find comfort in his following. (I also hope he keeps his crude comments about you and the two Visions to himself. Although, if he’s right about that, it beats my fanfiction.)

I am Groot,

I am Groot?

I am Groot. I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot.
