Grit Back on It

Even a slow learner eventually sees the light.

Stupid choices, stupid me!

I do it every time I work hard then throw it away

Stupid choices, stupid me!

Always wanting more thinking glory lives somewhere else not inside my door

Stupid choices, stupid me!

How can I be so blind? I run for miles and hit every target only to throw my medal in the trash

Stupid, stupid, stupid me!

I once was blind

but

now

I see

(Pull medals out of trash. Gets back in the race.)
