Grief – A Poem
In every struggle there is something to learn.
In the depths of sorrow, grief takes shape,
A myriad of forms, like shadows draped.
It lingers in people, both far and near,
In places, objects, memories held dear.
This emotion, raw and deeply felt,
No need for justification, let it be dealt.
For grief is the echo of love and care,
A testament to the heart’s love affair.
But beware those who dismiss its weight,
Who belittle the sorrow, the pain innate.
Cherish instead those who stand by your side,
Offering solace, in whom you can confide.
In the midst of darkness, they bring light,
Guiding you through the long, weary night.
For grief may be heavy, but love is the key,
To healing, to finding solace and glee.
Hope you liked the poem.
