Grey Orphan Queries

Poetry of life

Photo by Annie Spratt on Unsplash

Where do people like us go, Do they strike out on their own, Or just long to be engrossed in better lives.

How do unloved people feel, writing journals no one reads, Permanence of ill-at-ease our bodies show.

Why would orphans like us care, If they fail or start again, We are ghosts of needs unmet Removed from hope.

How do stories like us die, Left unheard and lost inside, Untouched beings hate their life of loneliness.
