I’m just a lovely shade of red

I’m no longer grey like the clouds that hover high. Dark and gloomy, they secretly hide the great sun waiting to break free. Oh, look, there’s a split in the sky, as the clouds finally move aside, revealing the big, bright yellowness that lies behind. Waiting for its grand entry to finally, sparkle and beam. Radiating its glory near and far. Basking in its warm embrace, I take in the rays. Loveliness is the feeling when the sun is ablaze. Lifting these spirits of mine. I’m no longer grey. I’m just a lovely shade of red!
