Greta Thunberg Is a Cool Name for a Metal Band

To most people, Greta Thunberg is a young environmental activist who became famous about two years ago, when she protested climate change in front of the Swedish Parliament, and after that, when she attended the UN to discuss environmental matters. But there is something that most people have not thought about yet.

Greta Thunberg is the perfect name for a black metal band.

Think about it, Greta Thunberg is a Scandinavian girl, who spends her days yelling at people to announce the apocalypse, and black metal bands are Scandinavian and spend their days yelling at people to announce the apocalypse.

And both are scary when they do that, here is the proof.

Also, Thunberg sounds a bit like Thunder.

Thunder is a word that sounds powerful, it is like a lighting strike in the middle of the storm, setting trees on fire just like Greta Thunberg set the media on fire, and there is nothing more black metal than a fire. It is metal AF.

I was about to put here a burning forest, but we all know Greta wouldn’t do that. Also, Source: Wikimedia. Edited by the author

She even declared herself a death metal fan on Twitter, and that means there is a good chance of a Greta cameo in a Greta song about Apocalyptic climate change, there are few things better than that, in fact, you can only beat that if you feature her on your first video clip severing Exxon Oil CEOs heads with a recycled paper axe.

SEO is another good reason to call your band Greta Thunberg. There are a lot of people Googling her name daily, so using her name may help your band to position better, and Google is the devil himself, so, having a good SEO will be like constantly calling to the devil.

Want more reasons?

Black metal bands incite their followers to burn churches and perform acts of rebellion, and Greta Thunberg incites her followers to change the world, which is the ultimate act of rebellion. Also, electric cars tend to spontaneously burn, and that is badass.

Black metal bands inspire fear in the hearts of conservatives, Greta inspires fear in the heart of oil corporations.

Just maybe you should name it Green Metal.
