Green and Lucky
I adore these things.
The four-leaf clover is the first thing that comes to my mind. It is March, and there are so many things to associate with, but I’m one of those who think about St. Patrick’s Day — wearing green, everything green, etc.
I love green stuff.
I’m wearing green today. I’m in green today, including my socks!!! Not on purpose — it happens from time to time. Sometimes, I would be all in blue. Other times, I would be all in black. And today, it just happens to be all green.
Not just what I wear, I love green foods.
Like I wrote recently:
- Pistachios
- Green tea, Matcha sweets
- Green vegetables
They are yummy!

But my good “green” stuff doesn’t end here.
Guess what.
Nature — if I say it with one word. Being in a forest, park, and street with beautiful green grounds and trees is refreshing. Even if I can’t be there, seeing trees from a distance is soothing.
Walking in these places during the daytime gives us fresh air. If mosquitoes and small-flying bugs aren’t around, surrounded by woods, being in the cool air is comforting, especially in the summertime. Besides, looking at dogs walking and running is a pleasant place to be.
Since last year, I’ve been trying this. I tried to look away from a monitor after about an hour or two to rest my eyes when staying indoors during the past cold winter.
I heard it would help eyes relax after staring at PC monitors or smartphones because muscles are tightened by looking at attractive images and reading interesting stories buckled up the blue light too close and too long.
I either look at the other side of the room or look outside. While growing up, I heard looking at green trees in the distance would help our eyesight, so I did it sometimes in the past.
But now I do it more often. After I keep writing for a while and creating 3D images, I take a short rest (sometimes a long laze :) and look away and look at the shapes of those trees.
I even do a little facial massage with my hands. One of my friends shared her knowledge of how to massage and press those spots between her eyes. I have done it occasionally when my eyes are really tired.
So, other than dimming the light of my screens, I do these massage:
- Around my cheeks
- Around my eyes
- And sometimes around my ears and each hand
I feel refreshed afterward.
Thanks to the tall green and beautiful trees.
Thanks to all the green foods that are good for my eyes and health in general.
Thanks to the trivial healthy tips.
And thanks to my friends who shared the practical remedies to loosen tightened muscles.
Conclusion
Green Things are good for me. They bring me happiness! 🍀 I like four-leaf clovers, feeling they would bring luck to me. I simply love this color, and my clothing sometimes becomes all green. I enjoy eating green foods. Yum! I enjoy finding green grass fields and leafy trees and looking at them even from a distance. 🌲🌲
