Grateful For New Beginnings
Let’s construct a better future together

“Vitality shows in not only the ability to persist but the ability to start over.” ~ F. Scott Fitzgerald
Historic events have rocked our world over the last few months. The fear of a lethal pandemic and riots in the streets put anxiety levels at an all-time high.
People have died. Millions are still out of work. Businesses and buildings were burned down and destroyed right before our eyes.
As we continue to emerge from the lockdown imposed by the threat of Covid-19 it feels like we are starting over. We can soak up the sun on beaches once again without the threat of getting arrested.
Talking through masks and standing six feet behind the person at the check-out line is the new normal. Videos of deadly encounters with the police dominate social media feeds and the demand for change hangs in the air. Things are changing.
It’s time to start over. It’s time to rebuild, regroup, and start again. Armed with the lessons learned over the past few months, we will start stronger and better than before.
The conversation continues. We are listening to each other. Here’s to new beginnings, my friends.
“We must be willing to get rid of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. The old skin has to be shed before the new one can come. -” ~ Joseph Campbell
