Gordon Ramsay Burger — Huge Disappointment
No idea about the food, though…
Like anyone else, I was super hyped to eat at my all-time favorite chef’s restaurant. Gordon Ramsay opened his place in Coquitlam, and I couldn’t wait to check it out.
The experience at Gordon Ramsay Burger was a rollercoaster of feelings and ruined my day.
My husband planned a surprise date there as an early anniversary treat, knowing how much I adore all this and am a big Gordon fan.
We had our table booked for 5:15 PM. I was excited, having never been to his restaurant before, and I ensured I was suitable and hungry for the occasion.

We arrived around 5:10 PM, which was pretty chill — not many people, just like we wanted.
In about five minutes, a server came by to check if we’d ordered yet. We told him we were settling in but ready to order. Funny thing, he said he was clocking out and would get someone else to help us.
But then, over 20 minutes passed, and seriously, my stomach was making all sorts of noises, and still no one to take our order.
It was weird, watching all these servers and supervisors buzzing around, helping other tables, and somehow, we just seemed to turn invisible.
We had to step out and let them know what we thought about their setup and suggested some changes. But, to my surprise, no one cared about our feedback.
This got me thinking: do they treat people differently based on certain preferences? Or was this just a slip-up? Maybe we expected too much, and they just couldn’t keep up.
I’d like to know if you’ve ever experienced something like this. Drop a comment and share your stories.
Cheers!
