Many Americans Consider Trump Supporters to Be Traitors to Our Country
Trump Lost, Threw a Temper Tantrum, and Tried to Overthrow the Government
A lot of effort is being made to rewrite the history of what happened in the 2020 election. But personally, I don’t care how loud the pundits and media personalities scream their alternate version of reality. I was there, I know what happened.
The simple fact is that the 2020 election should go down in history as the single most disgraceful action of a sitting president in the history of the United States. There’s mounting evidence that suggests Trump took it upon himself to engage in a plot to overthrow the government.
This pathetic little weasel of a man, this entitled, incompetent, narcissistic, traitor wanted to toss all our votes in the trash and install himself as a dictator. That should make the blood of every true American boil with rage.
We know there was a violent march on the Capitol where Trump’s supporters engaged in chants to hang the vice-president.
This is not up for debate. It’s on video.
It’s also treason.
Let’s quit playing nice. You don’t get to march on the US Capitol with violence in your heart and then just walk away from it like it was no big deal. A Capitol police officer died! This was a serious, orchestrated, brutal, violent, lawless attack on everything we hold sacred in our country. For those “Americans” who still support Trump after this pathetic show of cowardice and dishonor, I have only one thing to say: Shame on you. Shame on you for supporting a traitor president. Shame on all the republicans who sat by and allowed it to happen. Shame on all the media personalities who try to deny the harsh truth.
The worst part is that the attack has never ended. It’s ongoing! It’s continuing to this day.
The reality, as I see it, is that if Trump is allowed to run for president again, it will mean the end of America. This isn’t hyperbole. This isn’t hysteria. Trump has made it clear with his words and actions that he does not respect anything about our country.
He doesn’t respect our laws. He doesn’t respect our freedoms. He doesn’t respect our votes. If you still support him in the face of all that, you’re as big a traitor to our country as he is.
All that time spent saying the pledge of allegiance and putting your hand over your heart for the national anthem meant nothing now did it? You’ve got an armed mob destroying the Capitol and you’re fine with that? What the hell is wrong with you? What the hell is wrong with all of us for allowing the conversation to take the path that it has?
The January 6th insurrection is just another wake-up call in a long line of wake-up calls.
Each one has been worse than the last. I shudder to think of what the next one will be.
Maybe January 6th was the last warning. Maybe it gets real from here on out.
We’re running out of time to save our nation from oblivion.
Under no circumstance should anyone even be considering that Trump might be allowed to hold office again. Didn’t you see what happened? Didn’t you watch the footage? A violent mob with hatred in their hearts stormed the Capitol and tried to use rage to burn the votes of every American who didn’t agree with them.
That’s not democracy. That’s fascism. The Republican party is a bunch of fascists, and to this day they go on television and try to perpetuate their lies.
Either they have evidence of election fraud and they’re hiding it, or they don’t have any evidence and they’re lying about it. Either of those choices represents treason. Nobody can be allowed to leverage the US mass media in an attempt to undermine our whole system of government. Why are we letting them do it?
Why do we let Ted Cruz get on television and claim the election was rigged? It’s an ongoing coup! They’re trying to steal our way of life in plain sight and we’re letting them get away with it.
It’s not going to go away until we start speaking up. Anyone who still supports Trump after the January 6th coup attempt is a traitor. If you see somebody flying a Trump flag, let them know you consider them a traitor. Get into a shouting match if you need to.
This needs to be broadcast on the news. Every reporter who shows his or her face on national television shouldn’t be afraid to label Trump as the disgraceful traitor that he is. Teachers should be teaching lessons about Trump’s failed coup attempt.
The word has to be spread far and wide until everyone in the country comes to grips with the reality of what is at risk. We disgrace all of our fallen soldiers by enduring any kind of support for Trump. We discredit the Constitution. We abdicate our sacred responsibility to protect and preserve our freedoms so they might be handed down to our children.
Open your eyes! Some rioters had guns. Some were carrying spears! They destroyed property! They were chanting death threats! This can’t be forgotten! The narrative can’t be obscured.
Do you want those people to have their way? Do you want your kids to have to endure classes that meet the demands and requirements of that lawless, uncouth, uneducated mob? These people were so dumb they recorded themselves destroying government property and posted it on the internet!
Why are the consequences taking so long? Why weren’t the rioters required to pay for the repairs for all the damage they did? Why didn’t the army show up and detain them all?
What about national security? What about my security? What if a foreign nation had elected to attack us at the moment of the Capitol insurrection? Would we have been able to mount an effective response? Those people put the lives of every single American in danger by undermining the rule of law, and it all started with Trump. Trump’s actions leading up to the insurrection and his words on that day cannot be forgiven.
What are Americans if we do not stand up for freedom? What kind of world will we live in if Trump gets his way and returns to the seat of power? There have been no consequences for him or his ilk, but do you really think he will hesitate to deploy the full wrath and power of a furious authoritarian dictator if he is ever allowed to assume the mantle of president again?
What would Trump have done if it had been a mob at his window yelling threats against his person? Do you think he would have hesitated to silence them with the full might of our armed forces?
I think he’ll do that if he gets in power again. Everyone in this country who is a true patriot, who believes in the ideals of this nation, should be terrified at the prospect of allowing a man who many feel is an obvious traitor occupy the office of president.
Every decent American should be spreading this message. Denounce Trump supporters. Denounce Trump. Denounce the Republicans. This isn’t a joke. Our freedoms are at stake.
The people who continue to support Trump after the January 6th insurrection are cowards, they are traitors, they are a disgrace to everything our nation holds sacred. The country does not have a chance at unity or strength until the whole population is unified in at least the very basic decency of respecting our elections. Trump lost. If you are still out there fighting and trying to overturn the election, you are engaged in an ongoing act of voter fraud.
You are attacking us! It’s not the other way around.
The nation spoke. We don’t want Trump. Those of you out there desperately working to put him back in are betraying your fellow citizens. You’re ripping up their votes. You’re using violence and hysteria to discredit our laws, our ideals, our flag, and our government.
The majority needs to rule, not the loudest, not the most unhinged, not the most deranged, not the most violent. We need to hold Trump and his ilk accountable. The evidence is mounting. It appears that they broke the law. There have to be consequences or what’s the point of having any laws at all?
I want my vote to count. If you try to destroy my vote with violence, you’ve committed a crime. If you try to subjugate me, I will resist.
