I use Google News to make more than $10,000 a month. I use a simple process to find trending news stories and evergreen content to help me build high-income content for my blog and platforms such as Medium and YouTube.

Here’s how you can make money online by using Google News:

People Also Ask Section

If you’re a blogger, you’ll be familiar with the “People Also Ask" section on the Google search results pages.

Here’s a screenshot:

This section can help you create click-worthy content for your blog, and for platforms such as Medium, Hubpages, and YouTube.

I use this section to help me come up with article titles and sub-headings. For example, if I were writing an article about the keto diet, I would:

✅Search for the keto diet in the Google search bar

✅Then scroll down to the People Also Ask section

✅This section will provide me with some frequently asked questions that I can use for titles or sub-headings

✅I notice that when I create YouTube videos using these questions, I get a decent amount of traction.

Google Maps

Making money using Google Maps is fun, but you do need to put in the time and effort to see results.

One way to make money using Google Maps is to search for businesses in specific areas and offer them a useful service.

The best service to offer is to help companies with their Google Maps listings.

Often, businesses underestimate the power of local SEO (search engine optimization) and they forget that people like to search for specific things in targeted locations.

For example, if I recently launched a business in Lakeland, Florida. I might search for:

“Accountants in Lakeland, Florida.”

If your site is not optimized for local search, it won’t appear in the search results.

To list your business on Google Maps, you need to:

1. Claim or create your Business Profile on Google.
2. Verify your local business on Google.
3. Make your profile shine.
4. Optimize your profile for Google Maps.

Some local businesses don’t have the time or knowledge to do this themselves; therefore, you could offer them this service. You could also offer to create local, search-optimized content to boost their search rankings on Google and other search engines.

The best way to find clients is to search for local businesses and focus on the ones that come up on the last few pages of the Google Maps search results.

Here, I typed in “attorneys in Florida,” and this came up. You want to focus on the businesses that come up on page 10 and onward.

When I used this strategy for my content writing business, I would send a simple introduction email first. Then, ask them how they feel about local search engine optimization.

Most companies respond by saying they don’t understand much about it. Then, I would send a short information sheet about the services we offer, explaining the benefits of each.

The goal is to sign up at least two clients per week and eventually outsource the process.

Searching for Random Facts on Google

Write about weird facts. Use Google to search for interesting facts to write about.

Here’s how to make money writing about weird facts:

Google Trends

I prefer to write about evergreen topics; however, you can still boost your income by writing about trending topics.

Search Google Trends for trending topics and write about them, it’s that simple.

Here’s a screenshot of Google Trends. As you can see, there are different topics trending at the moment in several countries. You can choose a topic and search for information or news about it.

I like to check Google News, search Google, and read through Tweets. Then, I craft written content and videos about these topics.

Google Sheets

Did you know you can sell Google Sheets templates on Etsy, Gumroad, and other platforms? Yes! You can. Watch this video to find out more.

You can also compile long lists of information, such as powerful keywords, affiliate programs, websites, toolkits, and job sites, and give them away to new email list subscribers.

When you create toolkits, for example, you can sign up as an affiliate for the software that you recommend, and each time someone signs up through your link, you get paid.

Google Docs

Use Google Docs to create ebooks and e-guides. Give them away as lead magnets or sell your digital guides or books on platforms such as Gumroad or Payhip.

As you can see, there are many ways to make money using Google. Choose one and start creating a new stream of income for yourself.
