Goodnight

Relish those words

Tonight millions will say “goodnight.” Lights off, pillows soft, hopeful for the sunlight.

Soon the sun falls, while the moon becomes tall.

In dreams so plenty, in fairy tales for many.

But not for all…

Still others wake in fright at the darkening night.

In the silence of this night, some may not live to see the sunrise.

The night is eternal. It is filled like a cauldron vast and deep.

Sobering thoughts while you sleep.

“Goodnight” my friend, may you too have a good sleep!
