I run through layers of sunlight, hoping to catch a glimpse of your smile leaping across the snowy fields. The world we were born into has shifted on its axis and my heart is tilting into chaos. Don’t forget to write when you find your way to heaven. May God receive you with open arms and heal the pain that has given you so many tears. Tell Yahweh that I will also be home soon.
