Gone Fishin’

Update: One year later, here we are still (voluntarily) locked down because we don’t believe the “authorities” who say the virus is slowing down just because they want us to get our asses back to work. This year’s trip to Thessaloniki and Kiev is understandably shelved. But we still have boatloads of amazing memories and some very cool YouTube videos of last year’s trip.

On Friday, May 24, my partner and I will be leaving for two weeks in Spain.

I have published daily on Medium since the middle of December, 2018, and must admit that I’ve gotten hooked. I’ve been writing and submitting my fiction for decades and this is the first time I’ve had ready access to real readers. So I briefly toyed with the mad notion of buying a laptop so I could write and publish while we’re jaunting about from Barcelona to Toledo/Madrid to Granada to Seville and finally to Lisbon.

Then I came to my senses.

I’m going on vacation. I’m actually going to not write (except in the journal) for two weeks. This is going to be an interesting experience. While I’m gone, however, keep the home fires stoked my fellow-scribblers.

And please feel free to further peruse the work of these fantastic publications and give them some Big Medium Love while I’m gone:
