Golfing In The Winter

It’s fun but might be cold

If you are a golfer who lives in an area where there are distinct seasons of the year with snow in the winter, you may have to give up golf during the winter months. Since I live in Utah, there is usually a fair amount of snow in the winter. This has been a mild winter, so we have been able to do some golfing. We usually suspend regularly scheduled play, but we can golf if there is no snow on the golf course. The courses usually open if the snow has melted, and it is not freezing cold.

There are many beautiful places throughout the world where golfing is enjoyed year round. California, Arizona, and Florida are especially popular golf destinations.
