God is there even when no one else is.

Who cares if it might be an illusion?

I choose to believe in a Higher Power.

Which for simplicity’s sake, I call God.

My understanding of God changes and evolves with time.

But for me, God embodies all good and creativity.

God is Art and Art is God.

God is Love and Love is God.

And so on.

My belief in God makes me Happy. It makes me a better person.

I choose to pray to God even if my prayers only dissipate in space.

Prayer makes me feel good and focuses my mind on what I believe matters.

Even if God is only the Universe itself, which we are all a part of, praying makes me feel connected, less lonely, more inspired.

I also meditate and do other things.

All paths to God are Good, to me.

The concept of God comforts me.

Maybe even God itself comforts me.

I don’t know everything and I am Ok with that for now. I seek more understanding and will continue to seek more understanding.

But for now I choose to believe in God.

I have faith.

I have hope.
