God, Family and Nature

My 3 current life’s pillars

They say the best things in life are simple and don’t come with a price tag, I now understand what that truly meant.

Having spent the last 10 years exploring the world, taking my chances, discovering the good and less good the world has to offer…I most of the time find the answers while focusing on the most basic and accessible things in life.

Spiritual life — my grounding field

As far as I love and enjoy the treasures and beauty of this earth what deeply fulfills me is being in harmony and sync spiritually. That unique feeling and sensation I get from hearing a resonating preaching is priceless. It makes me go from gratefulness to literally crying emptying my shoulders in front of the Lord. It reminds me that I’m above all a daughter of the almighty and that no matter what he’s got my back. From refugees camps to allowing me to live an abundant life, he’s been by my side and never left me down. I always find shelter and comfort in the Lord.

Spirituality plays a vital role in my life, it’s a strong pillar that has led my steps ever since I was born. Grateful to my Queen mother, true and persistent believer who passed on this precious heritage to the whole family.

God writes the Gospel not in the Bible alone, but also on trees, and in the flowers and clouds and stars.

— Martin Luther King

And I would add my personal touch: God also writes the Gospel into the brothers and sisters that cross our paths.

Family and friends I consider as family — My rock, my others me

Family, family. There’re my people. They’re those who I can’t spend a day without being in touch with. With family you are with your own. You vibe on the same frequency (for the most — diversity can also be found among family members, thanks God). You can totally chill, lay back and lay down the defence armour. You talk about deep and most non senses matters. From which food you gonna eat today to reminder of how far we’ve come. It feels safe, uplifting and comfy with family.

When one brebis (French for “sheep”) gets lost ( = brebis égarée), the rest of the pack isn’t far away to call it back before it gets too far away and falls down the cliff.

Dancing, food and debating/discussing occupy a strong part of our gatherings: whenever we are all gathered, good food, good vibes and crazy funny dancing are on the menu. My family is my rock, my daily reminder of the grace and mercy of the almighty.

Nature — My peaceful shelter

My love and amazement for nature is unconditional. Beside my comfy zone, the place I find the most peace and harmony is in the midst of nature, with one long endless path surrounded by wild trees heading towards the unknown. I can spend hours and hours in nature without realising it. The sunset and darkness being the signals that remind me that times has passed away. If my son is on the trip with me, he will make sure I notice the time and will bring me back to reality. :)

What about you? Who/what are your life’s pillars and which place/s is/are the most peaceful and harmonious to you?

Until next time, thank you for your precious time. Take good care of yourself and your loved ones. Remember very little things matter in life. Find the ones for you, nourish, cherish and enjoy them. All the best you visualise for yourself.

One love✨💜
