Give your mind a break and you will open your mind and body to everything

You will no longer worry, as you are being and are as you are, a piece of star dust who has freedom and movement within space and time. And words won’t matter, but breathing, feel and experiencing will, and love, feelings that transcend these mellow dull key strokes.

Alan Watts- If we think about thoughts all the time, we become more and more distant from reality.

The great illusion as I see it is that we are not our mind. It is one part of us. We can feel, experience and live. And so many things and we cannot confine to words, even though this desperate nature with us wishes we could. Understand this part and change your life. That is the road of mindfulness, meditation, religion, enlightenment, to simply be without desperate human influence.

Your mind is no longer closed, focused on a few shallow lines of influenced thoughts, you are open to experience the power of the universe and everything that lies far beyond words, experience. Think about how much meaning we give this created constructs, words, and how much assigned meaning and worry. Let go of these attachments in your mind, breathe, relax your mind and body and step into the moment.

In eastern culture it is extremely important to take some time every day to stop stop thinking and simply be and experience the world as it is.

Relaxation, anxiety releases as you let your mind unwind and feel and experience. Feel your overstimulated, constantly searching brain relax and take a much needed break, enter and feel, bring attention to your body.

Yet here in the west it is ingrained in our culture to view life through our mind, to try and interpret everything, rather than experience it. And our thoughts themselves are very influenced by impulses and desires, pleasing others and a whole lot of bullsh*t.

So take some time to give your mind a break today, you don’t need to always be thinking, rather enter your body and experience and see the world as it is. Take in things, accept them as they are, and yourself, instead of constantly judging in a desperate form of self-protection.

You see what you think you make into your reality, and if you have negative judgements and thoughts you will see this in others and this will be your reality. If you reverse this and spread love and kindness to others and make the world a better place, you will feel this love and harmony returned.

Another thing Alan Watts is famous for saying is that the past and future and real illusions, that they exist in the present. We are here now, why would anything else be real, they are simply us in our minds, we can change what happens in this moment, that is all the power we have.

So be here, now and experience and choose to do good, work hard, accept, love yourself and others. Because judgements, everything else, past and future, worry, is not real.

The experience that we are undergoing right now is real, so put your attention into the now and step into the drivers seat of your life. Take action and steer the ship to where you want to go. Because we have the power, if we choose to take action, rather than be a victim and react to circumstance, we can make our own circumstance and do anything we choose in the moment, without external influence.

\ We can choose what matters to us. We do have have to be a victum of our impulses, we are far greater than our minds, that is one small part of who we are. Accept that part and understand that part, and then we can step letting our animal self control us from the shadows and pull our strings towards instant pleasure, validation and temporary highs. We can do fulfilling, meaningful work to make a difference, we can hard work and find Euphoria and live in eternal sunshine and spread that light to others.

When you stop letting your mind and thoughts control you, you gain the ability to go beyond them and do more in the moment than you could ever ‘think‘ imaginable” as you are being your true form and you are alive.

So take some time today, give your mind a break, do an activity simply, focus your mind as you choose, and feel and be in your body, let that be your experience, do something fully and without influence. Do not give into your thoughts, feel any sore parts of your body and the sensations of each body part, observe the influenced nature of your thoughts, smile and feel the sunshine, step into the present moment, still your mind and experience tranquility.
