Give It to Me
Science & Kundalini in the Earth

I wish I was a potato, growing in the ground, brown skin on the outside, purple in my mound.
Potatoes in the Earth, deep, a metaphor for sex, moist with fragrant centers, knowing the overwhelming lushness of subterranean mystery, imagination, unexpected flings, light and deep great suchness, your Elemental Zing.
Did you know that Nature likes to rhyme, too? It’s not just humans having such total amazing fun.
The whole Universe is joking, making love with itself, fast, intense, laughing, filled and on the run.
One time I ate a potato. I had sex with her for lunch, deep and deep and deep, we met, wet silent Earth within, below, First Chakra opening and calling, the one we call the Root, perceived by us as magic sex,
And, if you know how to use it, the energy of the whole blinking Universe enters
And makes you pregnant with the All.

Hi Everybody!
I haven’t published on Science & Soul before, so I’d like to introduce myself. I use my own meditation technique, which I call “Energy Meditation.” Its roots are in Tantra techniques rather than Mindfulness. As the Zen guys like to say, “There are many fingers pointing at the Moon.” (I like that.)
I also approach things from a scientific angle. I’m trained as a Biologist and know enough Physics just to make myself a bit troublesome. Science, ala Meditation, to me, means that Enlightenment, and all the fun stuff we discover on the way, is not just some airy “Consciousness,” but is the apprehension of scientifically real and existent things.
The overlap, if you will, is in the fact that we can experience for ourselves that the Universe really is so absolutely alive, the whole amazing fucking shebango thing.
And what Bodhidharma calls The Emptiness, is, in scientific terms, the place where Universes come from. It is Empty, in the sense that it is beyond, or outside of, space-time, matter, and all the odd things we find ourselves involved in while within a Universe.
One of the cool secrets I’ve discovered is that this Emptiness did not leave the scene after our little bubble Universe popped out of it in the Big Bang, but fills, maintains, powers you, me, this lovely Earth, hot stars everywhere, … you name it. No one escapes! lol
So, anyway, what this particular poem is about is Mr/Ms Kundalini, hello to you.
OK! Thanks for reading! Life is the most amazing adventure, full of secrets in plain sight. Reality is solid, ordinary, just like a potato,
In the ground.
