Short Poem
The Gift of Life
Life is a gift with impermanence as its nature, rush towards your passion before the expiry date.
Life, the most precious gift we’re given, Bestowed on us from forces unseen, Offering a canvas, vast, For whatever vision our hearts may dream.
Life, fickle lover, tempestuous friend, Full of joyous peaks and sorrowful ends, Filling up our days with sunlight and rain, Twisting paths that rise and fall again.
Life gives us challenges meant to mold, Hardships that our character shall embolden, Loss and grief arise to help us know – All that glitters soon comes and goes.
Life offers chances to spread our wings, Discover passions that set souls alight, Love deeply, give freely, leave a mark Before fading into eternal night.
This gift called life, alarmingly fleet Is ours to fill up with what feels sweet, Ours to craft as a transcendent story, Before we must all go and reach life’s glory.
So let us cherish each breath that’s ours, Glean wisdom from struggles and powers, For this ride, it spins oh so quick, Let’s relish life’s gift — make the most of it!
