Get Rich Quick — is it Possible?

Is it possible to get rich quickly?

Yes.

Why?

Because anything is possible.

Is it probable?

No.

So what’s a better idea?

Instead of chasing quick fixes:

Make what you’ve got work for you.

If you work and take home a salary, great. You can follow your dreams from the comfort of your spare time, full belly, and warm house. Eventually, that dream might become your reality. Eventually, your reality might bring riches. There are no guarantees.

But, what won’t help is chasing down false promises. I wrote about this in my story, Everybody Has Something to Sell, But Not Everything is Worth Buying.

Allowing ourselves to be distracted by everything and everyone will throw in detours, perhaps even lead to derailment.

Follow your own path.

You are the only person who can take you to where you want to go.

Maybe you might need a tour guide at times. Choose wisely.

You might hit riches at a pace Usain Bolt would be proud of, you might get there at a snail’s pace, or you might never get there at all.

Do what you love and do it with purpose.

As cheesy as it sounds, learn to love the individual steps of the journey and the destination will take care of itself.
