Get Paid More for Your Articles With Little Effort
Increase Your Writing Revenue Without Writing More

Earning from writing online takes a lot of effort. And you really start earning only when you have found your audience and built a loyal following. But what if you could maximize your possibilities to achieve this from the get-go, and earn an extra buck while you’re at it?
How to do it?
Repost Your Content to Other Platforms
There is really no reason not to do it. Most of the platforms that let you monetize your writing online allow reposting your original content to and from other platforms. The key here is that it must be your original content. Just make sure you read the rules of the platforms you are using.
Not only this will help you earn a little bit extra from the content you have already written, but it will also bring you more followers. The algorithms work differently across the platforms and that's a great way to get your writing some extra exposure.
The platforms I personally currently use: These are affiliate links and if you use them I may earn something at no extra cost to you.
Read.cash — It’s a platform where writers and readers can tip each other for their writing using BitcoinCash. Don’t get spooked from the use of crypto. It’s really easy to use and if you have a Coinbase account, you can cash out your money whenever you want. The great thing about this platform is the fact that even if you don’t have a following there, there is a possibility you might earn something extra there because of TheRandomRewarder bot which analyzes the quality of content and tips accordingly. I managed to earn 13 extra dollars in half a month just by reposting my articles there because of this. Here is a longer article I’ve written about this platform:
Publish0x - This is another similar site. It also lets users tip each other with cryptocurrencies, but in this case, the tips are free for the user. The tips are provided by cryptocurrency projects looking for extra exposure. And you also earn a little bit for reading and tipping. The great thing about this site is that it is easy to get your reading noticed. I managed to get about 50 followers organically during my month posting there and also earned some change along the way.
There are also some other more traditional platforms I haven’t tried myself yet but might do so in the future. You should also take a look at these: Vocal.media, Newsbreak, Substack for newsletters. And if you are more into crypto and web 3.0 type of thing you could be interested in Mirror.xyz or Hive ecosystem. And these are just some of the possibilities out there.
Your Medium Referral Link
Don’t forget to include your medium referral link in your stories, as now you get about half of the $5 membership fees monthly from anyone who signs up for the membership using your links.
If you get a lot of external traffic it might be wise to update your older articles to include this link.
You can find your referral link by going to your profiles Medium page and adding /membership at the end of the URL.
Hopefully, these tips will help you grow your audience and increase your earnings.
