Modern holocaust
In Gaza’s heart, a hospital stood,
A beacon of hope, where life was renewed.
But bombs came raining, from the sky above,
And shattered dreams, with their cruel love.
Nine hundred souls, lost in the night,
Their cries for help, silenced by the blight.
Doctors and nurses, fallen too,
Their sacrifice, a bitter rue.
O Israel, why do you inflict such pain?
On those who suffer, time and again.
Your bombs may fall, but your spirit’s weak,
For justice will rise, and your crimes speak.
Gaza weeps, but will not break,
For hope endures, in the midst of the ache.
May the world unite, and demand an end,
To this senseless violence, without end.
For every child, whose life was taken,
For every mother, whose heart is forsaken,
We vow to fight, for peace and light,
Until justice prevails, and all is right.
