Gardening Day

Today family and friends did some weeding!

I live in my mother's house. She sadly passed away two years ago.

Today I teared up as I said to my sister: “It’s bittersweet making the garden look nice. The better the house looks, the sooner I’ll have to leave”.

Next year we will sell the house. I dream of buying it.

A quarter of the sale will go to me. I have some savings.

But to get a mortgage, I need a stable source of income.

“Not necessarily, Heids,” my sister replied. “If you can’t afford it maybe I can. You could pay rent.”

“Do you think that may be possible?”

“Maybe!”

I didn’t realise until emotion took over me, how much I love this home. Mum's home 💝 My cats do too 😺
