Fun Memories are Meant to Cherish
January Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Self”
Attempting to steal power from gods?
Yeah right. Are you kidding? The gods would have to steal power from me!
Still, it made for a funny photo, which was the true goal.
What we did on summer vacation? This was captured on a trip into Philadelphia in the summer of 2010 with my daughter (who was the photographer) back when we lived in Central New Jersey. Photos this old really make a person think.
Nostalgia can be a killer, in both good ways and bad — bittersweet.
My daughter would have been fifteen. We took a lot of trips into NYC, Hoboken, and other places back then. Now she is twenty-seven and busy with her life — times like this have gotten more rare. Just too crazy how time flies.
If you have children, hug them tight and cherish the moment because the years fly by with one mere wave of a hand.
I’ve been enjoying the delightful “self” photos from Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles!
And I love this one by new writer Makena Darya. Looks so enjoyable!
Of course, there are many more awesome photo storytellers: Ellie Jacobson, Penny Grubb, Divina Grey, L Burton, Gauri Sirur, and Emma Tiger Lee
Thank you Mary Chang Story Writer!
