Full Moon
Only my racing heart is moved

When I see the full moon
I shudder and feel tender
I forget everything, life, death
I just go crazy
I already know that for a brief moment
Unable to act or think
I fall silent, full of enchantment.
Nothing in my trapped body moves
Only my racing heart is moved
My soul comes loose
And transcends what I feel and understand
I am absent from me
And in an insane and endeless frenzy
I gain wings towards the moon
It’s not me anymore, just her slave.
Free from prison and earthly chaos
Of fear and of all that is small
Fascinated by the unspeakable beauty of the moon
Grateful for being now only hers
I undo myself and say goodbye for what I was
I’m just a being in deep ecstasy
A being in tune with the mysteries of the world.
