AP Limited is a company where Jay has been working for over ten years, this year there is new management. Jay has lost his job due to the retrenchment done by the new management. It’s a great loss to not only AP limited but also Jay. He has no other stream of income. Jay starts spending all his dues but no more money is coming in and this stresses him out. He goes out to look for another job but no one wants to hire him since he’s overqualified.

Jay is about to be kicked out of his house due to the lack of rent. He tries to coax the landlord but the landlord does not give in. He is given a month to try and sort out his troubles by the landlord.

It is now a week before he is kicked out no money, no rent, less food and more stress. Unexpectedly, Jay recalls receiving a cheque from his friend once as a token of appreciation. He did not open up the cheque, instead, he stored it in a certain book. The cheque was worth $1,000,000 and he did not know. It might already have expired by now.

It is now two days left and as we know, time waits for no man or woman. He quickly starts rummaging through his stuff to try and find the cheque. Hour after hour until the day ends but he does not locate the cheque. He does not bother to look at his library of books. The following day, he is kicked out of his house and he now resides in the streets looking for help around.

In life, we all have that one inborn special talent nevertheless; we shelve it as a cheque in us not knowing that it is worth $1,000,000 or more. We struggle through life and yet we have what it takes in us to burgeon and be better.

Let us not take too long to blossom because we haven’t searched for our special talents within us and used them.
