Frost, Reflections, and Furry Feathery Friends

Fourth Week of December

Day 1

As the light reflects through the window of my husband’s home office, rainbows sparkle everywhere. This is the first time I have gone up to his office at this time of day. He said he never really paid attention to it. We are working on his awe sensitivity. He has started to point things out to me that he knows I would find awemazing, not sure why this wasn’t one of them. It is so interesting.

Day 2

When I headed to work, Father Frost glared at me with his evil eyes from the front windshield.

Day 3

Today, the sunrise softened the nipping frost and created a wonderful winter scene reflecting on the back window of my car. The frost looks like snow falling. We actually don’t have any snow yet.

Day 4

I couldn’t believe my eyes. I had no idea we were getting a light snow shower overnight. I had to go outside to touch it, to make sure it wasn’t a prank. It seemed so out of place, such a little dusting on an otherwise bright day.

Day 5

I reached Michigan for a holiday vacation and celebration with my family. I was met by the gnomes my mom made.
