Never-ending poem
From Your Not So Secret Admirer
A litany of admiration
Do you know what most I admire about you?
Your chutzpah; outlandish with grace
The way you flaunt your pinks, ruffles, and lace
Your struggles for the common people,
Your exuberant webpages, and your taste
For all things glitzy and glittery,
and for rainbows and bows, strategically placed
And especially, your love of unicorns, unabashed and embraced
In a world of black, white and greys
I really admire your colourful stances and your gaze
Many thanks to the object of this poem’s affection Chris Hedges for tagging me in the never-ending poem series – I’m late to the party, but here!
Let’s keep the never-ending poem going!
Here’s my prompt word: Summertime
