Thank you, Dr. Preeti Singh! You helped me break the monotony and truly relive the lovely December month, just by one simple act of sharing this story

As I welcome the last month of the year, to me December month has been like the first in many domains.

Let me recall as I write this prompt:

My joy knew no bounds when I joined my first job in a bank in India On December 1st. I got promoted for the first time in December.

I attracted my hubby whose birthday falls in December

God blessed me with a baby boy in December

My lovely niece and nephew are born in December

As you can see how the month of December fuels me with love, inspiration, and enriched relationship and brings joyful vibes. I used to get annual pay increments in December…Yay! Yet another way the month of December made me feel abundant!

As I am writing this prompt I am realizing, no wonder I don’t feel the December Winter gloom and doom in the United States. I am thankful to God for sprinkling life events that make my December month feel like a pleasant Spring rather than bitter cold Winter.

Those were my family and professional life events. Speaking of external events, I love the concept of decorating the Christmas tree inside our home in the United States, which we never did in India.

Bringing the Christmas tree from the attic would involve internal self-talk like Why bother? or Is it really necessary? After Christmas, I have to put it back in the attic.

But once the tree is decorated with ornaments and gifts placed under the tree I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and celebrating Christmas with family and friends. The presence of a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments helps me beat the Winter blues.

Driving around my kids to watch the Christmas lights decorations on the buildings and shrubs was fun, refreshing, and soul-enriching. Now as an Empty nester I love to imagine those days when kids were home and the Christmas tree inspires me to write more, get excited to catch up with learning new songs, and try new things. I am also looking forward to spending Christmas Holidays with my grandson!

🌹🌹🌹Are you ready to say goodbye to 2022 by the end of this month?

Absolutely and graciously. All good things must come to an end to give way to better things.

🌹🌹🌹🌹In what way would you welcome the new year?

I would welcome New Year with gratitude for the gift of life. I would work on becoming a better version of myself by being open to learning new things and serving more.

I wish all my readers and writers Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Speaking of learning new things, my curious Data analyst mind said

“Hey, Lalitha, why don’t you list a few of your stories with the highest fans and make them available before year end?

I said yes and you have it right here!

Thank you all for reading, clapping, responding and shariing!
