From Shadows to Sunrise: A Journey of Transformation

30 months ago, I made the decision to turn a new page in my life – a change that I came to realize would be both challenging and rewarding. Much has happened since then, and today I stand here, stronger and more self-aware than ever. Let me take you back to the beginning of this journey so that you can understand how I arrived at the point where I stand today.

Over a year ago, I embarked on my adventure. I dreamed of making a million within a year, but this project turned out to be much more complicated than that. I was just a worker like everyone else, but in the midst of a journey where I had decided to make a change. I had fallen into addiction and ended up involved in criminal activities. It had been almost three years now. I had become a person I wasn’t truly, and didn’t want to be, which resulted in me ending up in jail and later being sentenced to prison.
I want to make it clear right now that I never committed a crime for personal gain or ever considered myself a criminal. I had to resort to alternative methods to carry out criminal acts, and today I understand why it is important to understand this, but I will come to that later.

I was judgmental and conspiratorial, blind to my own faults, manipulative, and disregarded others. I suffered deep inside, escaping into drugs and digging myself deeper into a pit of meaninglessness. As I am fundamentally a sensitive person, far from being evil, this lifestyle was only a source of anxiety and pain. The day the police came and took me away, I felt an immense relief.
I had known for a long time that I needed to break the pattern, but I repeated the same procedure every time. I pushed my moral boundaries constantly and made justifications like I can break into that place because they have insurance coverage, and so on.
If by some chance I managed to take something of value, I made sure to lose my bag or phone so that I always ended up at a loss. Perhaps it was something subconscious that wanted to stop me, a cry for help from my inner voice. Whatever it was, it eventually led to the change I had longed for.

PArT , From Shadows to Light: A Journey towards Change and Freedom
There is wisdom in being able to laugh at everything, to embrace life’s paradoxes and find joy in the unexpected. That is the core of myself that I have always held onto: a cheerful and positive soul, kind, caring, social, and constantly eager to learn and grow. When faced with life’s heaviest burden, which pushed me deeper and deeper down, I finally found the strength to embrace it without fainting.

With renewed energy and joy, I found myself on the path to meet others in my situation. I looked forward to it, curious about who these individuals could be. In my eyes, they were not just other criminals, for who truly wants to be a criminal? No one is born evil, and those who have strayed need the right help and treatment to find their way back to themselves.
During the journey to my new life, I met a man named Polski, a Polish liquor smuggler. Despite language barriers and cultural differences, we found a common ground. We shared a cell, a corridor, and ultimately, a part of each other’s life stories.

As I began my new life in the open section, I encountered two individuals whose strong presence was immediately felt. They were authentic, human, and governed the section with a natural authority. Seeing them there, bickering in a brotherly manner, was a reminder that even in the toughest circumstances, there is room for humanity and humor.
During this time, I developed deep relationships and bonds with some of the people I met there, especially two of them who have left an unmatched impression on my life.
In November, I made a bold decision: I quit my job and began delving into the world of cryptocurrency. I went from barely using Facebook to being online every waking hour. This decision came for several reasons, but primarily because I started experiencing signs of depression.
Despite difficulties and challenges, cryptocurrencies became my answer. It became my path to financial freedom and long-term security. It became the solution I needed to get closer to my son and provide him with the right foundation for adulthood.
I have made mistakes, encountered obstacles, and experienced difficult periods of loneliness and resource scarcity. But every step has taught me something valuable, and every challenge has made me stronger and freer.

For the first time in my life, I am thinking long-term. I have fought with blood, sweat, and tears for everything I love. Being someone I am not and living in negative energies is not a choice. Freedom comes at a cost, but it is a price I am willing to pay.
This journey, this metamorphosis, is not just my story. It is a reminder that change is possible, that freedom can be achieved, and that we all have the ability to grow beyond our current situation. It is a story of courage, perseverance, and selfless love – a story of finding light in the shadows.
Thanks for reading my story.
