In response to the story “The Blacksmith Of Ordon”
From Ordon To “Being Reborn”
On behalf of Steve

Although my soul always talked, the distraction didn’t let me see my whole. My mind’s traps had made me a confused slave, and I couldn’t follow my destiny’s wave. I was insecure, though I screamed for the opposite. I wasn’t ready to touch my spirit. While trying to understand what is life’s meaning, and I was observing my self, taking responsibility, my perception’s range was gradually expanding, like the skills from a level to another in video-gaming. I started recognizing the messengers I couldn’t “see” until then. An owl was one of them; It delivered the message and then it left. One of its feathers stayed behind, and also the message in my mind. I took my life into my own hands, carving independently my path. The feather seemed to have given me magic powers, but it was a placebo; the “excavator” of my willpower. It was burnt right there, in front of my eyes, but my instinct made me turn to the sky. Because when the external help vanishes, you turn inward and you find surprises; what you thought was only up there, it also lies within, and when you compare you discover that the tiny earthly self of yours, has the same substance with your Self above. Having uncovered a great truth, I tried for this to give myself proof. And there I was, defeating Ted, but actually, I defeated my previous, coward self. So, look dudes there in Ordon Village, do you search for me to get revenge? Are you angry about my escape? Or, did you understand I’m brave? Do you want me back to punish me? Or, my absence proved I am valuable? I don’t care, and you can come. I’ll confront you, I’m not the same man. I have formed a new me, like I crafted the magic panoply. I am free from the torture of fear, and a free soul I’ll remain, whether my body will live, or “disappear”.
This is a response to the beautiful story-prompt “The Blacksmith Of Ordon”, written by Benjamin Duuude. Benjamin, I — just like your father, ScienceDuuude — have no idea about the video-game by which you were inspired, but your story took me within a mysterious, beautiful atmosphere, and I felt I wanted to co-flow in this with you.
