From One Day To Another

From one day to another, everything is over, nothing is the same as before and no one warned you. One day they don’t talk to each other, they don’t look at each other, they don’t touch each other, they don’t greet each other. And you realize that you can lose everything for no reason.

Nobody told you it was going to end. It was just over. You can’t assimilate that nothing will be the same. And you start to think, to remember every moment. The first kiss, what things were waiting for, the last hug, the confessions and promises they talked about so much, and none came true. And you think about the last kiss and the times that will no longer exist. And no matter how much it hurts, you remember the first kiss, you remember the perfume, your hands on his neck and his hands on your back, you remember everything.

And sometimes you think some people can’t forget them, while others are already forgotten. And it’s easy to see why one is so clear to you, even if it was a long time ago, and another that you don’t remember, even if it was recently. and yes, you knew it was his first kiss, but you never knew it would be his last. Nobody told you it would be the last time. You don’t understand why everything was fine.

Since no one warned you, you couldn’t say goodbye. You still haven’t forgotten that stage. Your body is still waiting for that person even though it knows it will never come back. You want to hug it, to feel it again. Because he didn’t say goodbye and your head doesn’t understand and he’s still waiting for him to come back. But he will not return.
